Patient
praise for services and staff at Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care
Centers
By Bill Harvey
The Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care staff conducts patient surveys
at the Urgent Care Centers in Buncombe County on an ongoing
basis to determine what we are doing well and where we need
improvement. Included on the patient survey forms is a space
for comments from our patients. Today I want to share a sampling
of the comments from a few of our patients.
“I love your services. I am very happy with every visit
I have had at any of your facilities.”
“Bless you ALL! No “regular” doctors would
see me today. I am very thankful for the excellent and valuable
service you provide.”
“Everyone was very kind, and I greatly appreciate all
the sample medications, since I am unemployed and without insurance
at the present time. Thank you.”
“AWSOME staff! Everything was great, and (this) made our
nine-year-old son’s visit easier.”
“I am so impressed with your staff. I will, in the future,
return here and not stay at home to avoid a visit to the ER.”
“We were pleasantly surprised to find such a fine facility
so near our new home. It is good to have such good care so nearby.
Weekends can sometimes be a problem; it is nice that you are
here then.”
“Everyone was so wonderful! We feel blessed to have such
great care from such wonderful people. You all are very special!!!”
“The waiting time was great. Very courteous service and
friendly. I will come again when needed. Thank you very much
for your service.”
“Thank you so much for your time and consideration on
the matter of my bill reduction. You’ve really given me
something quite special—an enormous load off my mind (&
empty wallet), and I wanted you to know it is extremely appreciated.
Thank you, thank you! Peace and love to you and your families!”
The comments above are typical of those that we receive throughout
the year. I believe that one of the reasons for this phenomenon
is that all employees at Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care treat
our patients as if they were family and without regard to ethnic
origin, creed or socioeconomic status. I am proud to work so
closely with such an outstanding group of individuals, people
who are dedicated to the mission and values of the Sisters of
Mercy.
